Constructive Dissent: A relic of Canada's Parliamentary past?

During a one and a half hour event, parliamentarians, media personalities and academics will contextualize, discuss and debate the centralization of power in party politics in Canada, its repercussions for parliamentary democracy and the impact/utility of the Reform Act in ameliorating and ultimately, changing the current state of affairs. Moderated by Kevin Page, Canada’s first Parliamentary Budget Officer and now Chairholder of the JLP, the bilingual event promises to be an engaging forum in which to address a critical issue.
